To the readers of
Monkfish books
The spiritual titles
that comprise the growing Monkfish list, and found in this online
catalogue, share a theme of unity in diversity. But even more, each book
in its own way brings timely and fresh perspective on the perennial human
condition. Monkfish books inspire new insights and understandings, open
and heal the heart, and set free the human spirit.
The readers we had in
mind when we began Monkfish in 2002 were devoted spiritual seekers, the
type whose passion for the spiritual quest would lead them to read across
a dazzling array of traditions: Buddhist, Jewish, Christian, Islam, Pagan
and more. At the same time, it has always been our intent to publish works
of spiritual authenticity for the general public as well as the
specialist. Even our more challenging works can be read with a modicum of
background information. Publishing works that join these two readerships
guarantees that your experience of a Monkfish book will be a memorable and
worthy one. Furthermore, a regular ‘diet’ of Monkfish reading will insure
that you maintain a well-rounded, up to date and fresh perspective on all
matters spiritual and/or religious.
Whether you are new to
Monkfish or a longtime fan of one or more of our authors, we thank you
sincerely for your interest in our books.
